What's the best thing about today?
It's Sunday! NO WORK! And no work for dh either! I love Sunday's, they are a great day to just do some light cleaning and chill with my boys.
You crash your friend's car because you're driving too fast in bad weather. Everyone's okay, but the car has to go into the shop. Who pays the deductible?
If it was really just due to bad weather and not really "my" fault, I'd ask her if we could split it.
When was the last time you surprised someone else?
I surprise my son all the time with little treats, and I surprised my mom with lunch and roses at her work for her birthday.

List three things you'd buy with your last $20. One practical, one frivolous and one of your choosing.
Practical - Food to get me through til I had more money, lol. Or GAS!
Frivolous - Makeup and Fashion mags
Other - No specific idea but probably something for my boys!
What makes a good President of the United States?
HONESTY. An understanding and compassion for hard working, blue collar Americans. Someone who doesn't just give handouts to those who don't work hard or try for a better life, but would rather give a HAND UP to those who do try and just need some help. Someone who isn't "slick." Someone who actually represents the majority of America, instead of just representing those who have money. Someone relatable. Someone who will be a force when dealing with other governments, yet not be arrogant and drunk with power. Someone who respects life and respects freedom.
OK hopefully there are some fellow AMC fans on Vox who will give me some feedback here!
*Charm - OK it's totally corny, but I am so excited that this is an actual book! I am hoping dh gets it for me for V-Day, LOL! I like the way AMC always rolls storylines into real life merchandising and the like, they might not have it down perfect but at least they are trying something new!
*Kendall/Zach/Aiden/Greenlee - Well I was, and still am, totally disgusted by AMC's treatment of Sabine Singh. Firing her for the return of RB is fine, I can understand that, but those commercials?! Totally classless! ABC should be ashamed of themselves. I LOVED Sabine as Greenlee and I really liked the direction the character was taking. I like Rebecca Budig before she left, but now that she's back I'm like, meh. I'm not blown away, I'm not impressed. And most of all, I'm TOTALLY disappointed in the lack of chemistry between her and Aidan, when he and Sabine were smokin'. It's pretty obvious they won't last, which sucks for Aidan, as he's been seriously underused up until this storyline. As for Zach and Kendall, well I have to say I'm looking forward to seeing Zach's reaction when he finds out about Kendall and Aidan - that will definitely be a show to see! In the end though, they'll definitely end up together one way or the other.
*Ryan/Annie/Richie - TOTALLY couldn't care less about the whole Richie thing. I am SO bored by that whole thing I could just scream. Either get better and get your own storyline or DIE Richie! As for Ryan and Annie, I have never been a fan of Ryan - too self righteous for me. BUT, I am intrigued by his "amnesia" and where that will go. I am liking Annie more and more everyday, she's kind of bland still but I see major potential with her. Maybe she'll end up with Aidan!
*Babe/JR/Adam/Krystal - LOVE all of them, although Krystal is on my nerves as of late. I'm anxious to see the JR/Adam showdown over the Kate evidence. Of course I want Babe and JR together but I'm enjoying them both growing on their own for awhile too. I am liking the new Babe more and more, although to me Alexa Havins will always be the "real" Babe. What is she doing now anyway I wonder?
*Tad - ON MY NERVES. Ever since marrying Krystal, he has started talking like a southerner for some reason (I swear he said 'darlin'' like 8 times in one show last week). He needs to find something to do! It's a shame they killed off Hannah, I liked them together.
*Angie/Frankie/Jesse - OK I didn't watch the show then, but so far, YAWN. That's all I can say.
I cannot believe Reece is 1 today! This past year has just flown by. I am so blessed to have him in my life, he is truly a gift from God. A gorgeous gift at that!
Why do I have such a problem with motivation? It's like, I get motivated to do something, or start a new 'organized' system, or stick to a daily schedule, but my ideas and intentions never quite come to fruition. I can never seem to stick it out through anything, and I hate that about myself. Even when I don't get mired down in work, kids, family, etc. I still can't seem to get up and get moving enough to get anything done, like really DONE. Late at night is when I always feel motivated, I make lists, I make schedules, I make plans - and the next day, they all go right down the toilet. I usually start the days out OK - I'm in a good mood, I get moving, I get what I need to get done, done. But around 3 or 4pm, it's like some foreign force just sucks the energy right out me. I drag myself from task to task, just trying to make it to the kids' bedtime without falling asleep. Even if I finish my work, I end up just sitting around doing nothing, despairing over what needs to be done and beating myself up for not doing it. I've joined FlyLady and love the program and the ideals behind it, but even that I've found it difficult to stick to. Do I need to start taking iron pills, ginseng, what?! This mid-afternnon slump has got to go, that's for sure.
