What is a "charmed life"?

To me, a charmed life is a carefree life.  A life that is floated through effortlessly - someone living a charmed life never has to worry about her bills being paid, or whether her outfit looks bad, or fitting in.  When I think of "charmed life" Gwyneth Paltrow immediately pops into my mind, not sure why her but she does, lol.

What's the best thing about today?

It's Sunday!  NO WORK!  And no work for dh either!  I love Sunday's, they are a great day to just do some light cleaning and chill with my boys. 

You crash your friend's car because you're driving too fast in bad weather. Everyone's okay, but the car has to go into the shop. Who pays the deductible?

If it was really just due to bad weather and not really "my" fault, I'd ask her if we could split it. 

When was the last time you surprised someone else?

I surprise my son all the time with little treats, and I surprised my mom with lunch and roses at her work for her birthday. 

List three things you'd buy with your last $20. One practical, one frivolous and one of your choosing.

Practical - Food to get me through til I had more money, lol.  Or GAS!

Frivolous - Makeup and Fashion mags

Other - No specific idea but probably something for my boys!

What makes a good President of the United States?

HONESTY.  An understanding and compassion for hard working, blue collar Americans.  Someone who doesn't just give handouts to those who don't work hard or try for a better life, but would rather give a HAND UP to those who do try and just need some help.  Someone who isn't "slick."  Someone who actually represents the majority of America, instead of just representing those who have money.  Someone relatable.  Someone who will be a force when dealing with other governments, yet not be arrogant and drunk with power.  Someone who respects life and respects freedom.

Ha!  Seriously, that never happens to me.  There's always something to do - always.

What was your reaction to the results of the Iowa caucuses?  

I am very surprised that Obama won over Hilary, she looked like a sure thing just a day or two ago.  Nothing is ever sure in politics!
